Committee support is a necessary component to the structure of Community Montessori School. Each family is requested to participate in school activities at least 50 hours per year. This important element of the school allows us to keep tuitions as low as possible while still maintaining a beautiful campus, community spirit and the highest quality of education for our children. The school has established a committee structure by which a small group of parents will serve as permanent members and a larger pool of parents will be asked to help with special projects through a particular committee based on the skills assessment form filled out at enrollment. If you are not selected to serve as a standing member of a committee, the service coordinator for the school will contact you based on your interests to help with particular jobs. There are also job lists and wish lists posted through the Tuesday email and on this website often.
