Dear Families,

The International Festival was super fun yesterday! I loved seeing so many of you there. The weather was ideal for taking in all of the interesting information about the many countries represented. 

I love the simplicity of the Festival. It really does cater to the children's various developmental levels at our school and gives all of us a chance to get to know each other better.

Our country was Brazil. On Friday, Isadora and Sofia's mothers, Raquel and Liliane, came to speak to the Extended Day about their native country. We learned about the various states of Brazil, the landscape, animals, and cultures that are found there. We also got to practice Samba dancing! It was great fun and we appreciate that Raquel and Liliane shared their knowledge and love of Brazil with us.
