We thank you all for returning your child's binders on Tuesday! Getting the binders back was quite a feat so we plan to send these out only once a month as they collect their hard work to share with you at home. This week we enjoyed lessons in Types of Regular Polygons, Principal Types of Lines, Sentence Analysis and Fundamental Needs of people around the world. We discussed types of shelters, food and modes of transportation for many and discussed how various cultures meet these needs based on their geographical location.

We are needing handwriting practice at home for our friends. Many second and third year children are recording in handwriting in cursive writing and copies of cursive alphabets went home three weeks ago. Below you will find a link to a website for building and fostering handwriting techniques for our younger friends and can be used on younger siblings in Children's House as well! More information to come in our conference on how to encourage handwriting at home. :)

For the International Festival coming up on November 4th, our community will be representing Italy! If you have any items at home from travels and would like to showcase them at our table please let us know! We will have our Class Ambassador sending out a sign up sheet for rotations at the table for you and your family to step in and represent our country of choice! Happy Friday!

Reminders:

We are a peanut free campus (Sunbutter is a great alternative to peanut butter and is perfectly fine to send)

Warmest Regards,

Veronica and Sarah
