This week in the Juniper Community we had so many moments of Grace and Courtesy modeled as our first year children and new friends learned the mechanics of the community and experienced a full morning work cycle! We implemented strategies that supported friends in order to support the environment as a whole. This looked like learning how to take turns in conversation, how to speak to each other with an indoor voice, waiting to ask a question before interrupting lessons in progress. I must say that the children made every effort to make moments for collaboration. I also enjoyed observing Rachel capturing the golden moments of our days to share with you all in our Juniper Facebook Group! Please see the link below to see your child! The Tone Bars, Racks and Tubes and Grammar Boxes were a huge hit this week and younger friends joined in as patient observers. Children happily read with Emilie this week and a new shipment of gardening materials arrived today! Nova will be visiting on Monday to garden with a few of our children as this will become a weekly opportunity to interact with the Adolescents of our school! :) Thank you for sending such beautiful and nutritious lunches and hats each day along with filled water bottles! We appreciate you all and your dedication to Montessori, CMS and Juniper community shows! Happy Friday!
