Dear Lilac Families,
This week we had the unique opportunity of truly enjoying having lunch on the picnic tables in the courtyard. The weather was finally pleasant and the children were excited to go outside. Inevitably a couple of insects came to visit our picnic tables and this reminded us about “The Hundred Hungry Ants” book by Elinor J. Pinczes. The children were able to think and figure out all the ways to make a hundred and they really enjoyed it. We are adding new songs to our singing repertoire and this time we are singing in Spanish. “Mi Cuerpo Hace Música” is the name of the song and I am including the lyrics below so you can enjoy it as well.
Mi cuerpo, mi cuerpo hace música
Mis manos hacen “clap clap clap”
Mis pies hacen “stomp stomp stomp”
Mi boca dice “la la la”
Y mi cuerpo hace “cha cha cha”
Important Reminders
Please remember that the best clothing and shoes to wear to school are the ones that are comfortable, easy to put on and take off independently and have no cartoons, characters or logos.
Have a lovely weekend,
Vanessa and Sara
