Thank you to everyone for taking time for conferences this week. It’s been great to touch base with you all!
Birthdays
Tomorrow TWO of our sunflowers will be turning two! Happy birthday to Ellie and Claire! We sang with them and looked at some photos from their younger days to celebrate.
Play Date
The playground will likely be pretty muddy tomorrow, so please keep that in mind when getting ready for the play date! As long as it’s not raining, we’ll go ahead with our plans. I hope to see you there!
FAQ
One question that came up a lot during conferences this time was, what should we do when a child puts their shirt on backwards or their underwear outside their pants?
The answer? Be proud, because your child is so capable and independent! The only time we “correct” a child’s choices after the dress themselves is when those choices are unsafe— for example, hopping around with both legs in a single pant leg. In other situations we might ask, “is that comfortable?” If the child says yes, then that’s all we need to know! They worked so hard getting dressed, so we don’t want to spoil it for them by telling them they’re doing it “wrong.”
Have a great weekend!
With love,
Krystin, Jessica, and Selena
