Hope you all have a relaxing weekend and enjoy the beautiful weather. Thank you to those who came to the Montessori Journey, it was so nice to see you there and hope this experience helped you have a better understanding of your child's typical day in a Montessori environment. For those who cannot make it, don't worry, you can join us next time. 

In the class, we are working naming the 7 continents with the World map/ puzzle map. Each continent is color-coded with a particular color in the Montessori environment. North American - Orange; South America - Pink; Africa - Green; Europe - Red; Asia - Yellow; Australia - Brown and Antarctica - White. In the Math area, we continue to practice linear counting, 1-30 and older children are working hard to grasp the decimal system; unit, ten, hundred and thousand. 10 units = 1 ten; 10 tens= 1 hundred; 10 hundreds = 1 thousand. Please continue to read to your child(ren) and play " I spy" when you are available to stimulate the phonetic sounds. 

Our extended day children also have Music Time with Marshal on Wednesdays. Together we do sing-a-long and music games. It is a fun time for them. 

Reminder

• Please fill up your child's water bottle with water only every morning. We will refill their water bottles throughout the day.
