It has been fun meeting with many of you to discuss your child and their progress. I always enjoy hearing your perspective in comparison to your child's. I look forward to meeting with more of you on Conference Day, Monday, October 23. This week we learned the meaning of 'sol' (sun) and 'luna' (moon). We added solar and lunar and talked about the upcoming 'Ring of Fire' eclipse. The children are SO excited to experience this first hand tomorrow. Some public libraries are handing out free viewing glasses and I believe they are selling them at HEB as well. I'd love for you to share any photos you take of your family enjoying the eclipse on our Lantana classroom FB page! Enjoy!
