Magnolia Weekly Newsletter 10/13/23

Our four days together this week were packed full of adventure! Lessons included book-making, tone bars, equivalent shapes, tessellation patterns and relationships of lines, among others. Children created songs, puzzles, and number grids. Some of them opened a "store" for their classmates. On Class Pet Day, many children weighed and sketched their animals. This morning we noticed Wilber was missing from his turtle tank; he was found during lunch and we think he climbed out overnight due to the high water levels. He looks completely fine!

A large flag for Switzerland has been prepared for the International Festival on Saturday, Nov 4th from 10am-12pm. We look forward to the event! Thanks for sharing your ideas and keep them coming.

Most of you are signed up for conferences the week of October 23rd. The same link from last week is below, if you still need to sign up there are several slots available. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C044CA9A729A4FE3-44924874-magnolia.
