What gorgeous weather! We took full advantage this week. We played in the rain, took a nature walk and started prepping our garden beds. The children marveled at the variety of birds that came through before the weather changed. That led to a discussion of animal behavior and how we can learn a lot about upcoming weather by observing. We played lots of sound games this week with 'I spy". You can play this fun game at home. The children love it. "I spy something that starts with the sound 'mmmmmm'." There are so many ways to 'play' with language and encourage interest. This week we welcomed a new friend, Ethan, to our community.
