Dear Lilac Families, 

Welcome back! We hope your summer was lovely as well as restful! We had a truly happy first week of school. The children are reconnecting with their school friends, daily routines and Montessori lessons. On our first gathering we enjoyed listening to the children’s stories about fun summer camps, wonderful visits to Grandparent’s houses, and trips to other countries.

We have been experiencing so many moments of genuine camaraderie among the children. Like when the older children helped our new friends with our morning routine and lunch setup. Those moments helped us develop our daily rhythm as well as helping the children create lovely friendships. We welcomed Aurora and Olivia this week!

We would like to add a new tablecloth for our snack table. Please let us know if you would like to help us with your time and sewing skills. We will provide the fabric and measurements. Thanks in advance. 

Reminders:

- Please make sure to label snack containers with your child’s name and ‘AM or PM snack’. 

- Please send indoor shoes and extra clothes for the classroom if you have not done so already.

- Please send your child with a healthy snack and a FILLED water bottle daily. We can refill as necessary.

- Please clearly label all containers, clothing, and personal items with your child's name.
