This week was exciting for the Nova community. We had three classroom guests, a field trip officially planned, and sound project presentations! The field trip will be this coming Friday, and will take students to the Harry Ransom Center, Bob Bullock Museum, and possibly the Capital! Throughout the week students started a new English through the Eras and History project, as well as continuing work on their seminars!

Calendar: Save the Dates!

• October 9th: No school!
• October 13th: Class Texas History trip!
• In the morning the students will take a bus to tour multiple museums in Austin and return to school before the end of the day. More specific information will be provided in an email next week.
• October 23rd: Conference day. Students are off for the day but are highly encouraged to attend their conferences!
• November 17: First Portfolio presentations and Potluck!
• Nova classroom from 5-8pm.
