This week in Magnolia, children collaborated with work partners and completed a big project of organizing hundreds of classroom books. Lessons included the timeline of the hand, fractions squaring, cubing and more. Children wrote about chess, math word problems, adventure comics and more. We enjoyed a variety of animals on Wednesday class pet day, including a Snowy Owl!
We are preparing for Magnolia to represent Switzerland at our International Festival on Saturday, Nov 4th from 10am-12pm. Please save the date and see you there! If you want to get involved with preparations, please share your ideas with your child and me! We'll share more ways to get involved in the upcoming weeks.
Conferences are coming up the week of October 23rd. I've provided the link to sign up below. Slots are open Monday morning and afternoon, along with after school on Tues, Wed, Thurs and the following Mon. I look forward to our conversations!
