This has been a wonderful first week of school! We started off strong with some get to know you games and then dove right into the year with a physics challenge, diagnostics, microeconomy lessons, our introduction to book seminars, and the presentation of our BRAVING sign and skits.
Charlie and I look forward to a very successful year with this strong bunch of students. Have great weekends and we look forward to Monday!
Reminders:
- First Book Seminar is due Monday!
- Students are reading The Giver through Chapter 4 and Lord of the Flies through Chapter 3. Some have elected to buy their own books and should do so ASAP.
- Please turn in Simple Sparrow Farms permission slips Monday!

- September 6-8: Fall Trip!
- Please turn in medical forms this Monday.
- September 22: First parents night out!
- Students who can will need to stay from 6-10
- November 17: First Portfolio presentations and Potluck!
- Nova classroom from 5-8pm.
