Happy Friday! The children have enjoyed the change in the weather this week and we’ve been doing lots of running and playing in our yard and in the play spaces around campus.
Conferences
Thank you SO MUCH to everyone for signing up so promptly for conferences! Conference day will be Monday, October 23. These conferences are for parents only, so please find alternate care for your children on that day.
Pumpkins
As per Sunflower tradition, I'd like to invite each child to bring one small pumpkin with them to school next week. We use these pumpkins for washing, as well as for language work. Don't just focus on finding a perfectly round, orange pumpkin-- bumpy, "ugly" pumpkins keep things interesting and give lots of opportunities for conversation!
October Playdate
Join us on Saturday, October 28 from 10 to 11 am for a playdate on the CMS playground! The children (and adults) are welcome to wear costumes, and we’d love to have siblings join us as well.
There is no bathroom access on the playground so please plan accordingly!

Plastic Bags
We are always accepting donations of plastic grocery bags. If you have extras please send them our way. However, we do not need the bags sent to you with soiled clothing to be returned. Thank you!
