Hope you are all having a fun and restful weekend. And enjoy the cooler autumn weather. Children spent more outdoor time last week. They picked some falling leaves and acorns. And used those nature materials to build different things, such as a hut to a beetle, a track for an ant, etc. They are so cute and creative. In class, we learned the parts of a tree and different types of leaves.
This week, we continue to practice linear counting from 1-80. And we adding rhyming game, it will be another fun game to play at home too, such as pen-hen, dig-pig, jeep- sheep, and so on. This is another great game for phonemic awareness. (Phonemic awareness is the ability to notice, think about, and work with the individual sounds)
