This week we had a busy an bustling week as children took deep dives into their Grammar and Language works, discoveries in Geometry that had them exploring in and out of the classroom and children started constructions and research on Italy. One child was seen measuring the distance of 100ft outside which was the length of tentacles of a particular jellyfish, another group was seen writing their research on Leonardo DaVinci backwards and walking over to the mirror to transcribe it for many to read! Today we read about one of History's Mysteries, The Shroud of Turin, which is located in Turin, Italy which contains the great river Po. Children were fascinated about the shroud and how much research and scientific reasoning has surrounded this great mystery in time.
Progress reports will be published on Sunday along with a time slot reminder so please take the time to go over that prior to our conferences to provide you the ability to formulate questions to guide our conferences. Time is precious in these conferences and a timer will be set to honor each family's time and avoid going over. Happy Friday!
